Due to my lack of knowledge of the app I decided to code everything in script
All is well thanks to the generous samples on this site learning the lingo and the app is generally easy, I however ran into a problem....
I install MSDE and since it is separate object it has a dialogue and target directory.
a) Can I supress the dialogue to ask for a different target dir?
if the user did choose a non standard directory how can I programatically check what that path is?

and read the readme html for the msde
