Hi,
I've created a Basic-MSI-Project that works fine under Windows XP.
However if I try to install under Windows Vista the installation fails with internal error 2738. The error occurs while executing the CheckForMDACInstall action.
Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance

Does it also fail when launched from setup.exe? What's the exact error message and error number? Could you post the relvant lines from the log?
It could be a permission problem (UAC). Are you using IS 12 or an earlier version (previous versions of the MDAC module are known to fail on Vista).
