The install is displayed in the Control Panel area Add/Remove for Win2000 only, not in 9x or NT.
I have 6 almost identical installs and it works on 3, not on 3 and I don't see any differences.
Property Manager settings:
ARPSYSTEMCOMPONENT = 0
ARPNOMODIFY = 1
ARPNOREMOVE = 0
ARPNOREPAIR = 1
(yes, I just want to give user remove option, not modify or repair.)
What am I missing?

No, it was less than 63 but when the GUID is added to long product anmes and filenames the overall result is greater than 255, which I think is the problem. By shortening the name, the error "goes away".
