In InstallShield 12, the quick patch for .NET file/module can be successfully uninstalled. However, after upgrade to InstallShield 2010 (when open the previous project file, Install Shield prompts that the project will be converted), the quick patch for the same .NET file/module can NOT be uninstalled: when remove the patch from "Add or Remove Programs", it immediately shows an error message box saying "Failed during installation".

Note:
1). We didn't change any settings in the Install project file.
2). the quich patch for no managed dll (i.e., C++) files always works for both Install Shield 12 & 2010.

Does anybody encounter this problem or have fix solution? please help me. Thanks a lot.

I don't normally use the built-in modules, but if you contact Flexera, then they will help you with such IS upgrade issues.
