How do I set a folder to be available over a network? I can't see any obvious way to set a local folder as accessible over the network.

Unfortunately the only way i've been able to do it is by creating a DLL or EXE, passing the share name and path, that calls "net share". then calling that DLL/EXE from a custom action.

I had a look in the InstallShield 5/6 samples section of the site, under network, and found a CreateShare.zip. According to the note, it doesn't work for Win9x, but thats fine because I am only creating installs for NT/2000. On these operating systems, it appears to work correctly, and being installscript saves a fair amount of hassle calling dlls.
