I have created an installation that delivers a large number of very small files ( about 6,000) and one large(ish) file 50mb.

The problem is that when running this installation from the cd on win9x (98 or Me) I get an out of disk space message - even though there is enough disk space.

My system is dual boot between Win Me and Win 2000 pro and the installation works fine in W2k pro.

The installation also works ok if I copy the installshield from the CD onto my hard disk and then run it from my local disk.

The problem Is I want to be able to send out  a cd rather than my hard disk !

I am using Installshield Professional 6.12

I know large files can produce that error if the drive is faily fragmented.  I'd suggest defragging it and trying again.

I don't think thata is the case as I have had this problem on another (Win98) machine and it works okay If I copy the installshield onto my local disk (i.e. less space available)
