Hello all,
I've worked with IS51German (16Bit) and now I'm new with IS7.
My question is simple:
How to generate a simple installation without the 3MB for the Windows MSI packages.
Neither the "Standard Installshield Project" nor the "Project Wizard" gives that.
I just want my good old Setup.EXE with a small IS-CAB back!
Any ideas?

All setups created with InstallShield Developer 7 are based on Windows Installer technology. You don't have to include the 3 MB MSI runtime files (instmsia.exe and instmsiw.exe), instead you can select that they will only be downloaded if required.
If you want a setup without Windows Installer technology you should use InstallShield Professional (current version 6.3 or version 7.0 to be released in a few weeks) instead.
