Hi,
The my questions relate to issue:
"Merge Modules from Visual Studio 6 SP6 Trigger System File Protection and Auto-Repairs"
As mentioned on this page:
http://www.installsi...en/bugs_msi.htm
Currently I do have error messages that are triggered as a result of including MFC42.MSM...
Is there any updates to these MSM's files yet or do I have to manually hack each one?
Also is there a single point of reference / download of the latest (bug tested / listed) MSM (Merge Modules)?
(Note: my target OS's are Windows 2000, XP, 2003)
Many Thanks,
Dean.

As far as I know there is no updated information from MS. And there's no central repoitory for merge modules. They are updated with service packs for Visual Studio for instance (in Program Files\Common Files)

Thanks for your responce...
Our application depends on MFC42.DLL and MSVCRT.DLL...
So when targeting Windows 2000 and Windows XP - with the latest service pack...
are these DLL's already installed?
Are there any MS reference documents for OS Service Packs (and Internet Explorer) that indicate which version of which DLL's are installed?
Thanks,
Dean.
