Hi,
I need to call a  exe file before installing a product.  This exe file should be removed when the exe is over.  How do I do this?

For anybody who wants more info:
I need to install a windows patch before installing my software.  The patch is available as an exe.  I need to run this patch executable.  I do not want this patch to remain when installation completes.  How do I specify the component, directory, custom action or any other table entries for the same.

I normally run things such as DCOM95 or HHUPD by running them from the source media.   Before that I used to put them in the binary table but that made my msi too large.
