I don't know if I have been building my projects correctly.
I keep my files in VSS and when they are ready, I download them to the "source computers folders" area on my PC. Since I already have my components defined in the  "destination computer folder" area, that's all I do unless I have a new file to add. I check the dates of the components and they all seem like they're pointing to the correct files.

But I have noticed that it doesn't always work.  I get errors when installing my project. Then I have to go back and delete components and re-add them from the destination source folder. This does not seem right to me at all. Am I doing it the wrong way?  I would appreciate any feedback-

could you be more specific - what errors do you get, are you building an upgrade, patch or just a new setup, what version of Developer are  you using?
