Can you please tell me what does "ReinstallModeText" property do in a MSI???

There is no "ReinstallModeText" property, but REINSTALLMODE property.
REINSTALLMODE property define the type of reinstall, what needs to be reinstalled.

I'm working on an msi which has this property. So I thought it must be something similar to "reinstallmode"

I believe REINSTALLMODE is set to the value of ReinstallModeText by some dialog or custom action.

Oops!! I missed on this. There is ReinstallModeText property in property table (the value is omus by default). The value of this is assigned to ReinstallMode on maintenance dialog, during reinstallation.

But i think this is InstallShield's implementation rolleyes.gif right Stefan.
