I need some piece of advice.
Nesting setups is more or less not such a serious problem. But can I also nest setups at a depth of 3? I launch a setup (IS 6.31) that calls another setup (IS 6.31) via DoInstall - and the latter one has to call a lot of single setups in sequence (mixed of IS 5.x, IS 6.1, IS 6.3, IS 6.31, so it's a mix of LaunchAppAndWait and DoInstall calls). Afterwards, the second setup has to continue. Once it's finished, the first one will continue installing.
Do I have to expect problems with nesting like this?

We did this. Mostly our stuff was all using IS 5.53 and DoInstall and it got 4 deep, plus a DemoShield CD-Browser
We also got 3 deep - an IS 6.02 calling an IS 5.53 using LaunchAppAndWait that calls an IS 5.53 using DoInstall.
Seems to work okay. The hard part is usually figuring out if one needs a reboot and how to handle it.
