I have a major upgrade with selections of " completely uninstall old setup before installing new setup" and "include maximum version = yes". This all works fine, except I have noticed that the files of previous versions are not being updated from the target location, even the program gets updated correctly from the Add/Remove Programs list. How to correct this?

Try running your install in verbose log mode and this should tell you why the files are not being updated.

The reason files didn't get installed is because three is no vesion number for those files. I use "overide system version" Property to correct the problem.
But in some cases I use "dynamic file linking", I can only set version propety on the key file, not the rest of the files. Is there any other ways? Thanks!
