Hi,
I use ISWI 1.52.
I have released a product in english.
I now have to ditribute it in Japonese. I have translated my string table in Japonese and rebuild.
During the installation, I sometimes display MessageBox, but the MessageBox does not seem to be able to display Japonese text.
Is it possible to change the default font used by MessageBox?
Thanks for your help.

What looks like a MessageBox in most cases is the ErrorDialog that is included in your project.

Hi,
I think you are talking about SetupError dialog: It works properly with the good font.
But the MessageBox that has problems is launched by my script via a Custom Action.
I am not able today to solve that problem.
Any idea?

Yes, I meant SetupError.
I assume that the MessageBox Windows API will use the operating system font. You may need to install Japanese language support, and maybe also adjust the system and user locale.

Hi,
I have already installed the East langage pack from InstallSield, but it wasn't enought.
I rebuild my setup on a Japonese Operating System: it works.
Thanks for your help.

Hi

I have the same problem using MessageBox'es, AskYesNo() etc. in Japaneese, Korean & Chineese -
I'm using the InstallShield Windows Installer 2.03.

Is the only solution to setup 3 different build computers!??!?

Have anyone found a better solution

Thanking You in anticipation
