Hi All,
I need urgent help!!!

The development is done on Developer 8.0.
I make major upgrade from version 1.0 to 2.0 because msi name was changed.

The following changes were done:
I changed ProductCode value and remained same UpgradeCode value ({224B7F85-267A-4C7A-A19D-1E88263AC126})
Two upgrade items were added with the same UpgradeCode and Upgrade table was populated.
1. VersionMin = NULL, VersionMax = 1.0, Attributes=513, ActionProperty = OLDPRODUCTS
2. VersionMin = 2.0, VersionMax = NULL, Attributes=2, ActionProperty = NEWERPRODUCTS
SecureCustomProperties = OLDPRODUCTS;NEWPRODUCTS

While I’m running new version of product (that includes upgrade) after version 1.0 is installed, from logger we can that someway the old version from cache is running and therefore any type of upgrade can’t work.

Here is fragment from logger.

Hi Gelya,

did you change the package code? WI looks for a cached package with the same package code, when starting.

Hope that helps
