Dear All,
I have created a exe (using install shield 2009) with multiple installation option by using GUID.exe for changing PRODUCT_GUID to NEWGUID.
The GUID.exe works fine in IS 6.2 version , but it is not working for IS 2009 version.
Command used : GUID.exe -guid "{PRODUCT_GUID}" -hwnd "723484" -tguid "{NEWGUID}"
Can any one help me in this ASAP.

Where did you get this guid.exe from?
The project file format has changed between IS6 and IS 2009, so if it's supposed to work on the project file it's no wonder it doesn't work.
Can't you use the built in multi-instance capability of InstallShield 2009?

Hi Stefan Krueger , thanks for your instance reply.
I took the GUID.exe from external site.
Can you describe/explain in brief about multi-instance feature in InstallShield 2009.

Look up topic "Running an InstallScript Installation Multiple Times" in the help. (Note: This is the forum for InstallShield Professional 7, not for InstallShield 2009, but both versions support multi-instance InstallScript setups).
