How to perform Component wise Uninstallation?

how can uninstall some components of my product
leaving others intact .
Whenever I tried to launch uninstalltion Program it uninstalls all the components.
Is there any way to do it?

Would the "Modify" option help? This removes the files of the component, but the registry entries or any shortcuts associated with the component being removed will remain until "Remove" is ran.
