Hi ,
I have a simple project(IS Standard), in which I do not have to show any dialog boxes, however I want to create a small dialog box and show the user a progress bar so that the user know something is happeneing.
I created a custom dialog with cancel and finish buttons and a progress bar control.All I wanted to do is to show the status on the progress bar as the installer runs, I dont want any other dialog to do this, but my custom dialog.Is this possible?

Why dont you just run the install with a reduced User Interface. This can then handle all of the progress for you.
