I use InstallShield Professional 6.31.
Why don't registry values have a "replace existing value, if found" property, similar to the start menu shortcut property "replace existing shortcut, if found"?
I want to create registry values if they don't exist. However, if the values already exist I don't want to touch them. The only way I can think to accomplish this is to disassociate the values' registry set from any file group and determine if the registry values exist using InstallScript function calls. If the values don't yet exist, I create them using CreateRegistrySet.
Does anyone have a better idea?
