Hi
Anyone know how to perform a silent uninstall for an Installshield setup.exe? The
uninstallstring reads RunDll32 C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\INSTAL~1\engine\6\INTEL3~1\ctor.dll,LaunchSetup "C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{9FCF2FC0-8268-11D4-A313-0006290D766E}\setup.exe" ADD_REMOVE.
it keeps prompting to confirm uninstall. Is there a way I can do it silently so no prompts appears. I've trived creating a responsefile file but dosn't work.
The application is Checkpoint VPN-1 SecureClient NGX R60.
Many thanks

Use AutoIT or some similar tool to send the OK message for the uninstall dialog. Simple to use and you can run the created .exe after your uninstall custom action.
I had a similar problem once with a response file for a driver install.
