Hi,
I have two msi with same upgradecode ( {uc1} for example )and different productcode ( {pc1} {pc2} for example ).
the two msi install same/updated files in a same directory.
i have put in the second msi an upgrade table with on row:
upgradecode: {uc1}
attributes:1025
actionproperty:{pc1}
rest is null...
finally i put removeexistingproducts action in installexecutesequence after installfinalize.
and then i install the two msi, but the first application is not removed in add/remove programs list.
What's wrong ?

You need a verbose log, worst logging I've ever seen but it will tell you what is going on.

I'm assuming you will probably see it saying one was installed per machine and the other per user.
I have noticed that I can get this to work/fail depending on whether or not I work through the dialogs during install or if it is automated (by disabling the panels).
I have also noticed the use of ALLUSERS affects this, even when both packages use the same values and were installed in the same way.
