Has any body an examaple of an installshield script with use of a querycancelautoplay function in it.
I am new to installshield and my project needs to insert another CD which has an autorun.inf file on it.
I have tried to disable using the registry but I need to reboot the machine before the effect takes place. I must keep reboots to a minimum.

Failing that are there any other ways to disable autorun.

I am using installshied pro 6.3

I tried tofind a way around this, hooking messages and doing all sorts of things - to no avail.

What finally worked was to create a separate executable that :
1. captured the auto play message (it is only sent to top level windows) and
2. prompted user for the CD-ROM desired.

The the 'auto play capture' program would exit and processing would resume with the regular InstallShield script.
