Hi,

We are creating a installshield package in basic msi project.
Our data which needs to added is around 4 GB and it has
around 30,000 folders and files.

We trying to drag and drop our content(data) into the install shield's
files and folder section, install shield pops up a message asking
to create a dynamic link, since the folders and files which we have
adding is huge.I create a dynamic link, so that it will ease the process
of adding the files and folders to the installshield.

But even after serveral hours , nothing happens it just crashes the install shield.

I want to know whether is there is any limitation on the size of content(files and folders)
which can added into the files and folders section OR is there is any limitation on the no
of files and folders that can be added into the install shields files and folder section.

I do know that there are some problems with dynamic links but you will definetly need to contact install shield support if your install keeps crashing.
