SDK Sample WiGenXfm.vbs

I've tried to use WiGenXfm.vbs that is part of the Microsoft SDK. It does generate a transform, but when I try to use that transform:

| MsiExec /I Base.msi TRANSFORMS=GeneratedTransform.mst |
I get the error message
| QUOTE |
| Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid. |
I can however open the transform in InstallShield Developer or Orca.
If I open the transform in InstallShield Developer, make some change, and save the transform again, I am able to use the transform.
What am I missing here?

You are right. The WiGenXfm has a bug. I have tried to generate transforms with WiGenXfm with no luck at all. But Msitran.exe tool in SDK works fine!

Hi,
Iam also using the msitran.exe to get mst file. but i don't know the way to create a mst file for different languages .
