The installation package, I am trying to make, must let the user have more than one installation of the product on the machine.  I am having problems getting installer to do this.  I am using version 2.03 Windows Installer Professional Edition.  I have tried to create a custom action to change the ProductState property to  "-1", but the process still goes to the repair, modify, or delete screen when installing.

Is there any information that could be useful for this process?  Is it even possible?

Thanks,
Jeff

If you want to install two instances of the same application on one machine, you need two msi files with different product codes. This is how Microsoft designed the Windows Installer, and also the reason why MS ships some of their applications with a set of 16 almost identical msi files.
