We have built a Snap-In DLL for our project using the examples in the Platform SDK, now we are trying to install the dll, but it needs to be registered. I was wondering how we can do this without using self registration. There is no TypeLib or IDL file.

Instead of self-registration you can extract registration before and populate Registry table for the component.
I suppose registration of Snap-in ActiveX dll has no differences from common ActiveX dll.
