Hi all,
I'm using MSI for VS6. I made registry entries to create DSNs I need for my app.
The DSNs are created as expected but are removed during the uninstallation process..... even tho the DeleteOnUninstall is FALSE for all my keys (default value).
Is this a bug with MSI? Any suggestions on how I can keep the registry entries made to create the DSNs after uninstalling?
Thanks in advance....

Try this out.
Add all related reg entries to a component and make this component permanent (Attribute=16 in Component table). This will ensure that the DSN is uninstalled on removal of msi.
