I just upgraded to Express 4.0. I applied the hotfix for MSDE 2000 (described in Q107899), which should upgrade my merge modules to SP3. But it seems like they're still at SP2. The project I built installed sqlservr.exe v8.00.534. SP3 is v8.00.760.
Has anybody else applied this hotfix? Any ideas on what I did wrong? TIA

Excellent question. I'm having the same issues on Express 4.0 as well. I apply the hotfox for a regular MSDE 2000 stock module installation and nothing changes along with no dialog box for adding in an sa password. I've been hacking away at it all day but have had no success. If anyone has any idea why this hotfix has no effect would greatly appreciate it.
