has anyone had any experience with detecting SSE processor chips? (CPU chips with SSE instruction set already programmed into them)

yes, i've seen this. i was trying to prevent using C++ code.
there is CPU information in the registry.... does any of this information indicate SSE? like in the "Component Information" or "Feature Set" values?
