Does InstallShield 7 support file hashing?
I have not needed to upgrade so far but I could use this feature of msi 2.0.

Sorry that I can't tell you if Developer 7.0 supports MsiFileHash-table, but the MS installer SDK 2.0 contains a tool called "MsiFiler.exe" which allows to fill and create the MsiFileHash-table. When run it also updates the contents of the File-table.
I'm still using ISWi 1.52 and some batches and scripts for postprocessing. One of my postbuild steps is to run msifiler. Works great! To change the rest of the setup to MSI 2.0 I'm using the setup.exe replacement (originally for IPWi 2.0) posted somewhere here on installsite.org. All my setups built until now, which use MSI 2.0, work without problems.

Yes, Developer 7.04 will automatically populate the FileHash table for versionless files.
