I have an application that at first launch pops up a dialog box that asks for the computer name. How can I have my msi dredge for the computer name and populate an ini or registry key? Thanks

Custom action that calls Windows API GetComputerName?
In the samples area of this site I did found something like this but for InstallScript, anyhow is close enough to Basic to give you an idea how to do it.

I did forget that msi has a property ComputerName, which contains the computer name…
