I want to fire off a Custom Action if, simply, the directory, E:\TEST exists. The files contained in that directory may vary so it is hard to search for a file that will be in this directory for all users.

Is there any way of finding a directory without knowing a file contained within. Anything I've found seems to need a file within the directory to search for the directory.

Greetings,
You could always create another Custom Action to detect the existence of the Folder and then set a Property indicating it's existence. Then use that Property as the Condition to launch your other Custom Action. It's clunky but effective.
