Hi,
After uninstalling a product some of the files are not deleted from the [INSTALLDIR].
Without deleting the files if i reinstall the product, the files are not overwritten.
I have set the propery Never overwrite property to 'No' for that componenet.
But still the files present in that component are not overwritten.Can any of u help me to solve this.

hello !
First case:
set the property 'Permanent' for all components that u wish to delete during uninstallation to 'No'.
Second case:
(It sounds stupid but it works) try deleting the components from the package and re-adding 'em. Don't forget to reset all the properties such as Never Overwrite, Permanent, and the key files.
It should be working ! Happy Trying !!
