trying to upgrade without patching/uninstalling as referred to in the associated articlefrom this site. using REINSTALLMODE=voums REINSTALL=oldfeature ADDLOCAL=newfeature.
the oldfeature contains components in the legacy version and the newfeature contains the components that have been added, all of the files in the newfeature are installed with the exception of the merge moduled that were added (crystal reports runtime and registration)
I am using installshield V2.03 with MSI V2.0
am changing the package code as well
Any sugestions?
