Hello,
I am using the command-line version of Orca to merge a merge module into an MSI database.
Is there any way to get information about the success of the merge process, apart from analyzing the log file?
I tried to get an ExitCode from Orca, but this seems to be always 0.
Any ideas?

If you're always getting zero, the inevitable conclusion is no, you can't.
Have you explored building a script and using the WindowsInstaller.Installer object? I have a whole collection of scripts (as does the WI SDK) but none of them deals with MMs, I'm afraid. Grab the SDK, have a look at the sample scripts and use those in conjunction with MSDN.

I may try using the Merge object; however I have found Orca easier so far.
