I currently have Developer 8 sp2 on my dev machine and Standalone Build 8 SP 2 on a build machine.

I have a project which builds fine with the IDE or IsCmdBld.exe on the dev system but when I try and build the same project with IsSaBld.exe on the build machine it falls over with error -6645 trying to load a .NET dll

According to Q108597 this is a known problem if 3 conditions are met:

The .DLL was built for .NET. - Yes

The ".NET Scan at Build" property for the component that contains the .NET assembly is set to "Dependencies and Properties". - Yes

The .NET assembly is located on a network drive. - NO! The dll is in on the same hard disk as everything else.

Is this a quirk of IsSaBld ?? I seem to be pretty much stuffed into having to buy a full developer licence just for command line builds on the build system if it is...

It's happens the same to me.
I'm using the InstallShield express 4.0 SP1.

Have someone an idea of what it can be wrong???
