I am using InstallShield Express v4.0 Service Pack 1. I have my Update Paths and all correct and the program I am deploying is updating correctly, but every version of the program that the user has installed shows up in the Add/Remove Programs. Is there a way to run the installer so that it either removes the old version's Add/Remove entry or doesn't add a new one if one exists? I still need the single executable to be able to either update an existing install or install itself fresh.

That should work with a Major Upgrade. I suspect a wrong seting in your Express project. Follow up in the Express forum.
