CAs running twice

My CAs seem to be called twice during installation. Any ideas?

Why do you thing that? From the logfile perhaps?
If you are using deferred custom actions there will be two entries the first when the action is added to the script and the second when the action is actually executed.
There is one time when a deferred action will be called twice. If an error occurs later in the script msi will call the actions again to undo whatever they did. You CAs should use MsiGetMode to check to see if they are running a scheduled or rollback an act accordingly.
