I repackaged a freely avialble application in InstallShield X (Mozilla Firefox/Thunderbird). Problem is that I don't know how to make the shortcuts trigger auto repair (to create a quick launch shortcut, registry settings, and clean out old files from previouse verion) on a per user bases.
The Purpose of this is to easy the deployment of this application to a network with Windows 2000 Group Policies. The Install is per machine, and the intended action is when a user logs in and runs the application for the first time, it will do the auto repair.
I've made the project files available in a ZIP file at: http://www.danielmorante.com/index.php
Mabey someone can help me out with this?

You will have to add some per-user data, e.g. a HKCU registry entry. See also http://www.msifaq.com/a/1011.htm
