I am trying to have the Feature Dialog box get the earlier installed features selected. I have a major upgrade project with a different product code and same upgrade code. I have a single MSI created from the project.
I have the Setup.rul created with the functions : FirstUI etc.
I am sure that I have the MigrateFeatureStates in the execute sequences after the CostFinalise.
Q1. Why doesnt it say that it is a upgrade?
Q2. Why dont the feature list get selected with the earlier installed features on the machine? Is there a code that can get the features from the last installed product?
Q3. Does the sequences take place if I have the installscript written in the Setup.rul?

As far as I know this only works for Basic MSI projects, but not for "InstalLScript MSI" projects.
