I am trying to launch another of my companies products installs(installshiled 7.x) from within my ISWI 2.0 project. Just wondering if anyone has any advice, possibly their opinion on the easiest way to accomplish this, or links to an online article where I can read up on this. All help is greatly appreciated as always.

Have you tried a Custom Action? If you have the capability to point to the setup.exe, you should be able to create a custom action that calls it.

This is my problem too. If I run the setup.exe from a custom action then it gives me an error. The setup.exe invokes the msi file and there is only one msi that can be running.
Any help would be good.
