Hi,

I am quite a newbite with Installshield. I am trying to create a patch for an existing installer. Using the Patch Creation Wizard, I was successfully able to create a patch.
while running the update.exe I face this fatal error 1628: Failed to initialize.
What could be wrong? Where am I making a mistake?
I am not even able to generate log by using the command line
I use : c:\>update.exe /verbose"c:\is.log".

I am using developer 7.02.

I think may be the package code which were absent in the earlier setup caused this problem. Im not very sure though.
