Hi all,
The problem is as a part of bigger installer I run 3rd party setup using msiexec with /L* parameters to get a log file. This log file creates successfully, but for some reason in UNICODE. Then I use FileGrep function to search for a needed string in this log file, but it can't find any strings whatsoever, because it can't read from UNICODE.
Can anybody help me with that problem?
Any help or suggestions would be very appreciated,
Thanks,
Yan

This is normal behaviour if you create the log file on NT/2000/XP. If you create it on 95/98/Me it will be ANSI. There are text editors that can convert from Unicode to ANSI
