We are skinning an 11.5 installation and find that the "Preparing to Install" window shows our skinned graphic on the left pane but also shows the stock InstallShield "computer" graphic over our graphic. Does anyone know how to get rid of the InstallShield computer graphic on this window?

Have you tried DialogSetInfo() ?

If I'm not mistaken, the "Preparing to Install" window is started before any custom code is called, thus the DialogSetInfo() will not work in this case. I was wondering about the same thing and found somewhere that said that you acutally have to rebuild that dialog and replace the .dll it uses. That seemed like too much work for me so I just left it. That would be a nice feature to add to future releases, though. Maybe a function that is called before any dialogs are presented to the user.
