Hi,
I use Wise for Windows Installer 6.0 and it uses the property INSTALLDIR to hold the destination path of the installation. My question is: during uninstall, INSTALLDIR no longer holds the installed directory. However, the directory information must have been kept somewhere and that is how Windows Installer can remove the files. So what property holds the directory of the installed files?
Thank you.

You could use something like [$componentkey] which represents the install directory of a component. Or you write INSTALLDIR to the registry (by setting the ARPINSTALLLOCATION property) and later read it from there using AppSearch.
