Hello,

We have an application setup that is updated several times with major updates. Every update process changes product and

package code, and so, if i install a setup new release when a major update have been installed, it doesn't detect that the

product have been installed and so, the item appears duplicated in 'add/remove programs'.

I had thought to write a script code into the function 'OnFirstUIBefore', and try to detect if my product have been installed

using the name of the product (no product and no package codes), and show a message to the user.

what do you think about this? How can i do it using Installshield script ?
