Error 2881 during upgrade

during an upgarde from version 1 to 2...i got an internal error 2881 blink.gif

Can some please telle me what s going on here?

2881 - CMsiHandler initialization failed

I have never seen this before. Has anyone else?

Try searching Google, MSDN and see if that returns anyting.
