 Hi People:
I have a serious problem, i'm an average ps user from Belgium;
I Work with Windows xp home edition, the following error message occurs every time i want to open word 2000 or if i  try to remove norton antivirus 2002 from my pc:
you cannot get entrance to this file cause you did not install windows installer properly or you started up your pc in safe modus!
Is there somebody who can help me out ?

sounds like the msi service is corrupt.  unregister the exe and dlls and re-install the latest msi ( currently v2 build 2600.2 ).  another option might be to use one of the various msi clean up utilities to review and clean upo the msi registry database...

do these problems occur with other MSIs ?
