Hi Stefan,

I tried to pass /QR in "MSI Silent Command Line", but Setup.exe is not installing the MSI.

If i don't pass anything then Setup.exe installing the MSI in quiet mode.

Is there any other way, where i can install MSI with /QR switch in InstallShield Suite project.

Please help me.

Many Thanks.

Best Regards,

Y S Reddy.

You are right, I'm sorry for the confusion. Suite/Advanced UI projects are designed to show their own UI instaead of the individual packeages' UI. Here's a quote from the help:

Note that the Advanced UI or Suite/Advanced UI setup launcher automatically suppresses the user interface of .msi, .msp, and InstallScript package formats, in favor of the wizard interface of the Advanced UI or Suite/Advanced UI installation.

So why do you want to use /QR in the first place?

If you really need to, you shouldn't add the .msi as a package but instead the msi install's setup.exe, where you can freely configure the command line. Of course you lose the benefit of a global progress bar.
