Hi,
When the MSP files is prepared and ready to be applied, I am using (in 99% of the cases) the value "ALL" for the REINSTALL property.
However - this, as far as I understand, make the whole application to be reinstalled, besides of applying the most updated files from the msp.
Is there a way to get the names of the features that their belonging files are included in the MSP package, so in the REINSTAL property I can specify the list of features that are actually "included" in the MSP?
I believe that achieving this will make the MSP installation run much faster. Am I right?
Thanks,
Igal

I think that InstallShield can do this automatically when building the patch.
With MSI 3.x this should no longer be necessary because it can optimize aptch installation and will only reinstall the files that are affected by the patch.
